Repaint for Leonardo SH's Fly The Maddog X, with custom cabin and placards on the flight deck. Semi-fictional, as the original OH-BLC was MD-90-30.
Blue1 was SAS's Finnish low-cost subsidiary. The company was established as Air Botnia in 1987 and first operated on domestic routes in Finland with Embraer Bandeirantes and BAe Jetstreams. In 1998 airline was acquired by SAS Group and started growing by introducing Saab 340s and Fokker F28 Fellowships into the fleet. Air Botnia changed its name to Blue1 in 2004. In 2015, Blue1 ceased it's operations.
During its history, Blue1 had many different aircraft types in its fleet, such as Saab 2000, Avro RJ, MD-90 and Boeing 717. The MD-90s were ex-SAS machines and were operated during 2006-2011. Each MD-90 in the fleet was named after lakes in Finland. OH-BLC got name "Lappajärvi".
