Welcome to my new mission for HPG H145 and H160 helicopter!
This package is a WIP project and will group a series of charter missions compatible with both H145 and H160.
First mission to be released is "Touristic" operations.
Touristic mission:
Your mission is to show touristic places to your passengers. As in real life, passengers are paying you to be satisfied by the tour you offer.
Satisfaction will be visible on tablet and will depend on your pilot and guide skills!
Passengers will be happy if:
- You fly smoothly (no strong accelerations)
- You are precise with timings: If they pay for 30minutes tour, try to be back at base at exact time, or satisfaction decreases
- You fly low and slow (they want to see the attractions and they will be satisfied if you are low, slow (but not too much), and close to the attraction)
- You land soft.
What about the locations:
This mission uses an advanced way to chose the locations (still WIP):
1) You can leave the tablet to decide destinations by using RANDOM choice (it will search in the nearby)
2) You can select single point on map
3) You may display a list of locations
4) You can create a flight plan with up to 15 locations (you can enter them one by one directly from the map)
5) You can create multiple tours, with the included template, so you can create your own tours and share them (I give permission to edit and share the preset file), Then you can just load the preset and the mission will start immediately.
Are you ready to test your skills?
NEW: Here below you find listed all the tours released by me or other developers.
- Bora Bora Tour (Best with Cli4d Bora Bora Enhancement project) available HERE ;
- Philippines, a tropical adventure (Best with Cli4d Philippines, a tropical adventure addon) available HERE
Installation:
NOTE: I created a file structure which is compatible with my other addon: HPG H145 RANDOM & EVERYWHERE mission, so the main folder will be the same.
1) Extract the zip in Community folder (Use the default Community folder, do not use external folders with addon linker or similar software). When unzipped, you will find 3 files here: \Community\hpg-airbus-h145-z-andrew-mission-pack\hpgmission\CHARTER OPERATIONS .
- empty template.json (This is the template to create your own tours (instructions inside the file)). If you don't want to create your tours, you can delete it
- example tour.json (this is an example tour to show how preset works. You may edit it or use the template if you like. If you want, also this file can be safely deleted
- Touristic.json (This is the mission file. You may edit only the custom settings inside the file, do not alter other stuff. This file is the mission.
2) Open HYPE OPERATION CENTER (HOC)
3) On left side select HPG Airbus H145 (if you have it) and on the right side push the "Indexed Missions" ""Update"" button.
4) Repeat the step 3 for H160 (if you have it). NOTE: If you have both, the update must be pushed on both H145 and H160 pages.
5) Open the simulator and open the tablet mission app
6) From the missions list you'll find CHARTER OPERATIONS folder,
7) Click on "Charter operations center 0.25" if you want to run the mission directly or select the example (EXAMPLE TOURISTIC MISSION V2.2). Do not use template as it is an empty mission.
HOW TO USE:
Mission is still WIP, functions may change with next releases
Once you open the mission (no tour selected), the main menu will appear, you have to select Touristic (as the others are WIP)
The mission will do it's first random selection automatically, the result will be proposed. You can:
- Accept and start the tour immediately,
- Push Random location to randomize again,
- You can select Flight plan (gray if no flight plan has been prepared yet).
Before accepting you have other options available:
1) Visit time: You may select 20-30-45 minutes tours taking in mind that times must be respected (time from mission start, to land at base). If you don't want mission time, select VIP. VIP mission will be time unlimited.
2) Difficulty: You may set different difficulty settings, settings will apply to the flight precision (smoothness) and will increase/reduce thresholds for satisfaction during visits.
3) Waypoint type: what to do/or is allowed when you reach the destination. Possibilities are:
- Normal: You have to fly low and slow around the location, BUT NOT TOO SLOW (no hovering) or penalties apply
- Land: You will need to land at the attraction until the passengers will be satisfied
- Hover: Same as Normal, but hovering is possible
- Enroute: The next point is only a navigation point (usually set for flight plan waypoints).
Once the mission starts, follow the route and approach the point, the tablet will inform you if you're good or not.
A progress bar will show passenger satisfaction or what to do if you're not within limits.
At a certain point the buttons for next location or return to base will appear. That moment means that "minimum" satisfaction has been reached by the passengers. You may either proceed to next point, "saving" the satisfaction score or you may stay more to make passengers happier.
Remember to respect timings! So make them happy but go back at base on time!
