'CoatHanger'd' is a livery created from scratch (new PBR textures) for the Australian flight simulator group, Seagulls Inc., and it's now available for the greater community to enjoy.
The livery was inspired by the group's many members' mishaps during our bush flight events over the last three years. This has included running into We Love VFR's many accurately placed high-voltage power lines and the many ground loops we've had with this aircraft.
Our mascot, the Seagull-with-no-name, is represented by 'catching' a power line in its beak. The name 'CoatHanger'd' comes from the term used to describe running into 'wire obstructions'.
The aircraft comes stock with a repair kit, including carbon fibre thread to help keep the skin attached to the aircraft. The anodised aluminium window frames are slightly scratched; the prop has seen better days, and the custom carbon fibre frame has held up well throughout the aircraft's abuse.
Known Problems:
- The tyre tread texture doesn't tile correctly due to the baked light map
- Ray Marched Reflections can look a little bloomy.

We're a bunch of people who love flying virtually and sometimes in real life. Our only rules are - to have fun and treat each other respectfully. There are regular events throughout the week (Australian Eastern Standard Time) based on a mix of airline and GA flying, with some special interest events (such as Helicopter Rescue flying, Racing Events, etc) as well.
