Livery based on real-life JA3111.
JA3111 was used by Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE). Its nickname was "Shouwa (昭和)".
The aircraft participated in Japanese Antarctic research from the second JARE. Sadly, it was written off due to an accident in 1961. It was also used to rescue the First Cross-Winter Expedition in 1958.
The logo on its tail seems to be the emblem of the IGY (International Geophysical Year).
You can find photos of the aircraft in the following website:

Since it's difficult for me to restore the font of "昭和" on photos, I upload two versions of the livery:
The liveries in "microsoft-aircraft-dhc2-JA3111" don't have "昭和" on its doors.
The liveries in "microsoft-aircraft-dhc2-JA3111-SHOUWA" have "昭和" on its doors.

BTW the short side tip of JA3111's letter "J" should be curved 180° completely but because of font, it's not in current version. Could you add more to "J" 's short tip manually
