This is the first part of the most ambitious bushtrip series about Russia, the Russia Ultimate Series, showing you (almost) all federal subjects of Russia and their most interesting cities, landmarks, historic places, landscapes etc... Russia is by far the biggest country by area on earth and with Microsoft Flight Sim we can explore Russia like never before in any flight sim. In this first part we start in the northwesternmost region, the Murmansk Oblast and fly to the capital of Moscow by visiting every oblast and republic of Northwest Russia and the northern part of Central Russia. As always on my bushtrips you won't just fly from A to B but I will also give much information on the cities, the history of Russia, the characteristics of the landscapes, the infrastructure etc... When this series is finished, the whole route will be more than 50.000-70.000km long, splitted into probably 15-20 parts. So if you are only interested in certain regions, you can skip the parts you dont want to fly, so that everyone get's what he/she wants.
To avoid misunderstandings: This Bushtrip series is about Russia, a country that is currently engaged in a war of aggression with Ukraine that violates international law. The trip takes place on Russia's internationally recognized territory and includes historical facts that depict significant events in Russia's history, but not current events. This content is primarily intended to educate and entertain people, who are interested in geography, history and the post-Soviet hemisphere. The largest country in the world may never have come to terms with its past, resulting in imperialistic efforts, but that is no reason to drag Russia's geographic beauty into it, in my opinion. In the future I'm sure I'll address other post-Soviet countries, but with the war going on in Ukraine, plus the ongoing Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict, I didn't want you to fly over towns and villages that look completely fine in the simulator, but were actually bombed to pieces and I'm pretending nothing happened...
Places you will visit on this Bushtrip among others:
- The arctic city of Murmansk with the Northern Fleet facilities
- The beautiful lakes of Karelia
- The Barents & White Sea coastline and islands
- The historic cities of Northern and Central Russia (Petrozavodsk, Pskov, Vologda, Veliky Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Vladimir etc...)
- The Ladoga and Onega Lake, the two largest lakes in Europe.
- Khibiny Mountains
- Moscow & St. Petersburg
- the upper parts of the Volga River
- Gigantic industrial complexes from the soviet age
Federal Subjects covered on this Bushtrip:
Murmansk Oblast
Republic of Karelia
Arkhangelsk Oblast
Leningrad Oblast
City of St. Petersburg
Pskov Oblast
Novgorod Oblast
Vologda Oblast
Yaroslavl Oblast
Kostroma Oblast
Ivanovo Oblast
Nizhny Novgorod Oblast
Vladimir Oblast
Moscow Oblast
City of Moscow
Flight Length: 5222 km
Flight Duration: 14:38 hours
Number of legs: 18
You will fly in a Cessna C208 Grand Caravan, the perfect aircraft for this route. Welcome aboard!! If you want to change the aircraft you can do it via the developer mode -> Windows -> Aircraft Selector
You will also be able to change the time & weather via the default toolbar according to your liking.
I have also added the TTS for Waypoint info with Copilot voice so it feels like there's someone in the cockpit telling you where to fly to.
The trip includes auto-translations for German, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese languages.
For the perfect experience I highly recommend some scenery and improvement mods, the more you install, the better the experience:

Excellent bush trip ! I did 4 legs and I am surprised by the cultural wealth of the comments...
question: how long does the realization of this bush trip, with all the research for the documentation?
The French version is very good, nice !

Thank you :) It took me about two weeks for this first part. Finding info about the major cities isnt that big of a deal. More difficult are small places or special things in the landscape and how to break down the information to fit in a waypoint description. An important aspect is also that I am very interested in Russian geography, the language, the history... I have watched tons of documentaries about Russia, especially Siberia before I even thought about doing bush trips. I am still far from being an expert but it really helps when making bush trips, to have a basic knowledge of the area.

Thanks a lot!!! Very good job and very good idea about series of trips.
Just one question - it seems that in the latest archive there are some jpgs missing. For example the ones with names starting from '00' and also some with 'PI0'.
