Camarillo CA KCMA
A complete detailed make-over of this great airport.
NOTE: NO dependencies required. Built entirely from Asobo/Microsoft airport objects, however you MUST have ALL Asobo/Microsoft airports installed for scenery to work properly. Check your content manager!!!
Important: I have not touched the ultra-lite field adjacent to Rwy 08 as this was made by another developer and I will never interfere with the work of other developers. If you would like to download this mod it is available here:

No responsibility for accuracy. No requests for changes or additions please. If you don't like my rendition of this field simply delete it!
Thanks to all who enjoy my sceneries. I simply enjoy bringing some life to MSFS and I appreciate all your kind messages.
Best regards to all (and a big G'day to 55tom55 who has some great fields in AK)
Cheers

This is perfect. Even complete with oil spots from big radials at the air museum! As someone who hangs out and flies at Camarillo a lot, thank you so much for your awesome work.

Much needed. Pretty true-to-life scenery considering the default objects used. Thank you!
Any chance for KPRB and/or KSMX? CA Central Coast is almost complete! I might be able to fly up that way and get you some airside pics if needed.

Hi
Thanks for the kind comments. Very much appreciated.
I'm about to upload a couple of Aussie airports and then taking a break for a little while but I'll keep your suggestions in mind for future reference.
Safe flying

hello, hope you are doing well. I was just curious when you say "MUST have ALL Asobo/Microsoft airports installed" does that include world updates? I was just curious. Thanks and have a good one!
Mountainair author
Hi Joe
I have been trying to build scenery which doesn't require 3rd party mods to save having lots of dependencies.
So if you have all the Asobo and Microsoft in-house airports installed you will see all the objects. This means you would need all the updates as well as these often contain new airports.
Note: if you have purchased a pay-ware airfield from say Orbx for Camarillo then obviously you would wouldn't use my build as they would clash😬 and I'm sure the Orbx version is better than mine😱
Anyway, I hope this helps.

Enjoying your SoCal Airports. Being local and everything, I see these airports time to time when I drive north like Ventura and Santa Barbara. Seeing you are doing military base, I hope Point Mugu is on your list. Thank you...

Hi Hornet1
Thanks for getting in touch
Probably getting away from doing bases now. Too many developers doing them and starting to double up. Also a lot of work. I'll still do scenery but mostly smaller stuff.
But keep posted, you never know!

When you say ALL asobo airports must be installed, what do I do about the ones I deleted for my 3rd party airports?
Mountainair author
Hi. Not quite sure what you mean. First time in 30,000 downloads I've been asked this. I guess the solution is to simply delete my scenery and stick with your pay-ware stuff.

I think at this rate, one day we will have every single airfield in the southern California represented.
