UPDATE 7, Fix for reported poor idle performance at high elevation airstrips. I am in process of updating Liveries as there have been reports that the ASI Guage and other performance data is not being displayed when using this MOD. I Believe I have found the issue. This is all guess work, at best, as the ASOBO files are encrypted so these files are built off other aircraft data, then tested and modified in flight. Quite honestly, a lot of it is "Lets try this and see if it works" kind of experimentation. Make sure you keep breaks applied when not intending to move, as the LARGER PROP will move you forward if you don't have then set or applied. Thanks for getting this far!!!
This is an "EXPERIMENTAL" enhancement to ASOBO's Husky A-1C and does not contain the aircraft which must be perchased separatly through the Market Place.
WARNING: If you are a purist, and do not care for EXPERIMENTAL aircraft mods, and all that intails, then please save yourself some grief and do not download this MOD!
Please Note: Please DO NOT USE this mod at the same time as my OLDER Husky Performance Mod as it will cuase problems and may lead to unwanted CTD's!!!
This is a total EXPERIMENT!!!
If you want purity, then I wouldn't read any further, and just save yourself the grief and simply don't install it!
As such you should know right up front, that the important cfg files started out as Carbon Props XCUB Performance Pack. I am very appreciative that he gave me permission to redistribut them in their pressent modified state. I have also barrowed data from several of Got Gravel's Mods, and he has also been kind enough to allow their use, so please do not redistribute any of these files without our expressed consent!
This mod adds a 215 HP Engine, with a special Prop, to ALL of the Husky Variants, even the Default Liveries! The Special Flight Model set, ONLY AFFECTS the BIGWHEEL or "Tundra Tire" Variant, and after much trial and error, the Float Variant! In addition to the previously mentioned 215 HP engine, it also has a 3rd Flap Setting, and will produce quite a bit of drag, and a little bit of extra lift, allowing for stall speeds as low as 36 to 38 Knots depending on your flying skills. Warning, it is quite easy to ground loop, so get some pattern work in and slowly get down to that critical edge! I've also increased the performance on the ailerons so they are much more responsive then you are probably used to!
I've also attempted to improve the Slip/Crab capabilities so easy on the rudder, it doesn't take much!
The NEW Float Performance Engine specs is just a tad bit reduced, and even with that it won't stop until you kill the engine. So be fair warned, if you are approaching a dock or pier, and don't want to drive right thru it, it will take a little practice to be able to judge when to kill the engine.
I've included a brief readme file, which will explain a few things, which should give you an idea of the performance you can expect.
I have also included a new Livery to add to your collection...
It is important, that you go into the Weight and Balance panel and make sure your CG is all in the black by adjusting the Slider at the top of the CG Panel Left or Right to bring everything in the Black!
I have tested it with all kinds of loads, Maxed out everything, and as little as possible, just enough fuel to make one trip or so aroung the pattern (almost didn't make it, engine died on roll out...)
Nothing is perfect and there are always room for improvement! So, please enjoy, and if you are a "Tweaker" and can make it better please let me know and we can add you to the list of contibuters!
Thanks, enjoy! AIRPAC!
This mod is based on the Husky A-1C from asobo, thanks to the https://www.xbox.com/en-US/developers/rules.

KOOL! It takes a bit of getting used to! Make sure take it up to a good altitude and get a feel for the stall speeds and various handling characteristics! Got way more power than it really needs, but I can get out of almost any place. Bitch'N Bob won't be on your case about the excess RPM so make sure you pull your prop back a little as soon as you get a little altitude built up, around 2600 is were I take it, and try to keep it in the GREEN!

Will it go back to the default settings if it were deleted from the community files?

Yes! A lot of us use ADDON Linker, and that allows you to simply go to a “Menu” for lack of a better description, and simply check mark or un check the things we want to use during a session… Some folks set up separate Community folders for different flying scenarios and activate only the one they plan to fly during that session. However, if you are just simply placing files in your community folder, once you remove it, then it no longer has any effect on the Simulator. Hope that helps!
