Air Inuit (Inuktitut: ᐃᓄᐃᑦ ᖃᖓᑦᑕᔪᖏᑦ) is an airline based in the Montreal borough of Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
It operates domestic passenger services and charter and cargo services in Nunavik, Labrador and Nunavut. Its main base is Kuujjuaq Airport (CYVP).
In honour of Canada’s first Indigenous Governor General, Mary Simon, I’ve created flight plans based on Air Inuit’s known routes. Data was sourced from Wikipedia and Air Inuit’s schedule.
As I don’t have direct knowledge of SIDs or STARs used by this airline, I’ve used those available to me in Little Navmap. If you’re a pilot with Air Inuit and are able to share more information about their departure and arrival procedures, please get in touch and I’d be more than happy to include them in an upcoming revision.
Note: We - I - acknowledge that we are arriving at and departing from aboriginal land that has been inhabited by Indigenous peoples from the beginning.
As settlers, we're grateful for the opportunity to meet here and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land - for thousands of years.
Long before today, there have been aboriginal peoples who have been the stewards of this place.
We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
As settlers, this recognition of the contributions and historic importance of Indigenous peoples must also be clearly and overtly connected to our collective commitment to make the promise and the challenge of Truth and Reconciliation real in our communities, and in particular to bring justice for murdered and missing indigenous women and girls across Canada.

Recommended Addons
1. Aircraft
While you’re free to use any aircraft you would like, there are a few Air Inuit liveries on flightsim.to available for download:
- Air Inuit DHC-6-300WP Twin Otter
- Air Inuit King Air 350i (available in 4K)
- Air Inuit A320neo (available in 8K)
If you’re looking for additional realism during these trips, I highly recommend downloading and installing these liveries.
2. Airstrips
Many of the airstrips you’ll be landing at are pretty nondescript and often consist of a simple gravel strip. However, Jean-Pierre Fillion has taken the default scenery of these airstrips and greatly improved upon them.
Those airports are:
- CYLU Kangiqsualujjuaq (ᑲᖏᕐᓱᐊᓗᒃᔪᐊᖅ)
