Download and you will get a zip file
Extract it and you will see an exe file name: MSFS2020 Map Enhancement Installer 7.x.x
Double click it to trigger installation, please keep the default installation path.
You will see a "MSFS2020 Map Enhancement" icon appear on your desktop
Before starting MSFS2020, open the mod and allow it runs in administrator mode
Choose the map and click "Start"
You will see the status is "Started" show and it will refresh automatically when you are in-game
Start your MFSF2020 and enjoy.
Close MSFS2020 and close this mod (It should automatically return to bing map for the next run)
If you have a problem, please see FAQ first
If FAQ can't solve the problem, please raise an issue
Please also click the "Subscribe" button on this page to get latest update

About the licensing

The app is completely free and same features as before, no license is needed for previous features. All maps it currently contains are free. Free features are always kept updated.
Some advanced features (e.g. custom map provider and future features) need a pro license.

I like the idea of this mod but it don't work well for me. I have coloured map tiles and the fps goes down.

Hi, is it possible to add a parameter to let the program shut down gracefully (by removing the entries in the hosts file) from within a batch file? Like "MSFS2020 Map Enhancement.exe /s" or similar?? Right now I can do it with " taskkill /im "MSFS2020 Map Enhancement.exe" ", but that is somewhat 'brute force'...

How does the cache handle different providers? Does it store both providers when using different ones in the same place, or the last provider used erases the previous one? Thanks for the mod!

Ich habe das Tool jetzt zweimal ausprobiert und kann eigentlich davor nur warnen. Beim Fliegen habe ich am Boden an vielen Stellen ein gelb-rot-blaues Karo-Muster gehabt, welches dann auch nach der Deinstallation des Tools erhalten blieb. Ich musste den Flusi neu installieren, nur den Inhalt des Official-Ordners habe ich gelassen. Meine hier heruntergeladenen Addons habe ich alle neu installiert.
Die Warnung von Microsoft vor diesem Tool scheint durchaus berechtigt zu sein.

I've tried the tool twice now and can only warn against it. When flying, I had a yellow-red-blue check pattern on the ground in many places, which remained even after uninstalling the tool. I had to reinstall the Flusi, only the contents of the official folder I left. I have reinstalled all my addons downloaded here.
Microsoft's warning about this tool seems to be quite justified.

Je reviens sur ce problème (voir un peu plus bas) où BYJMCV (merci à lui de m'avoir mis sur la piste..) m'a orienté vers le fichier host. Trouvé à cette adresse: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
contenu entièrement supprimé et remplacé par:

Failed Server Image
MS server override is not working
Please try:
Disable any global proxies
Disable any game accelerator
Create a new hosts file
What I (tried!) to do but also restart the installation; nothing helps, I always end up there, even when choosing other 'maps'

When you close the program, all entries in host file should have been removed. In my case I never had problems with it.

doesn't work at all. Just disappears into the background and the only way to close it is via the task bar. Bring back version 5!
