Versioin 1.0 (WIP)

This started out as a quick project to add the new runway 28R-10L to Dublin Airport. Once I started I discovered that most taxiways and stands where mis-named or missing all together and there was no night lighting at all. So what was meant to a quick project turned into many hours of work.

This is to replace the default Dublin only, pretty sure it won't work with any other

New runway, associated taxiway, lighting and taxiway signs and ILS
ILS Fequencies (Approaches have not beem added but may get added with the next AIRAC cycle)
- RWY 10L 109.55
- RWY 28R 110.15
Real Stands numbered and added where missing.
Night lighting added.
Buildings replaced with better looking buiding where I could find a decent default replacement.( Curently have no 3D modelling skills)
Taxiways renumber, adjusted and added where necessary.
Tower, West hangars and Rescue area remodelled.

*Work on progress on general campus,roads carparks, replace building where a better alterative exists.

Note : There is a general issue with jeyways sometime not showing, this effects a lot of airports including Dublin, I hope to improve this in future release.

Install instructions : Unzip downloaded folder and drag the "eidw-dublin-inl" inside the unzipped folder to your communtunty folder or whereeve you keep your add-ons.

Quite nice, I've never been to the real Dublin airport, but what you made here feels realistic and coherrent. Tho I see one issues or rather inconvenience, the ATC reads all the taxiway names as phonetic, meaning your "LINK 3" will be read as "Lima India November Kilo 3", and Ground commands get very long this way. I don't know if this is caused by writing the name in all caps in the SDK (my own airports only use short codes like "D 3"), but maybe it could be shortened for future releases to "L 3" etc instead?

I know it's a work in progress but the overall quality is poor imo. The glide slope for 10L is broken, jetways are broken (which you're aware of as you've featured it in one of the mod screenshots), buildings look bad. If you're looking for a mod to add the new runway and nothing else, this'll do. If you want a nice, functional airport I'd recommend getting the MK Studios payware.

Edited review: Upgrading to 4 stars while I figure out where these CTDs are coming from, given others are reporting it even when this mod is removed. The mod itself is GREAT and thanks to the creator for adding what is not yet in the sim!

Old review: I CTD'd on 28R (on VATSIM no less), 10nm out. Strangely worked okay on an OUTBOUND leg from 28R. Unfortunately can't rate high ATM but appreciate the attempt made, given this runway isn't supported otherwise in the default sim

Downloaded the airport and got CTDs everytime shortly after loading into the sim. Running SU11, AAU1 beta which might explain why it was incompatible. However, after removing the mod from my community folder I still kept getting CTDs, making it so they I at least can't fly out of Dublin... haven't attempted flying into dublin. Any ideas why this might be occuring?

Super job, many thanks. Great to have the new runway.

But a disgrace that after opening last August, MSFS still has not added Dublin's new runway.

Great enhancements.

I noticed on runway 28R, center runways lights and some taxiways lights are slightly above ground level at some places.

Windsock at the entry of the rwy28R is on the wrong wind direction.

please to check.

Great addition to Dublin and thanks. I notice that on runway 10L there's seems to be a bump at start of the runway which runs along the runway into the grass. Might be something to check out

its actually pronounced link 3,4,5 etc but the ai atc just reads out ever letter so it cant be changed sadly

Me "If you have bought MK studios version you will have noticed the the addon is outdated and doesn't have the new runway, correct stand etc, they are working on a new one so people absolutely shouldn't buy it at the moment"

This is only meant as an improved of the default which it does and no it can't compete with people who can 3D model but it was never meant too.

There is a known issue with CTD's in/around Dublin that some users get I don't believe it is related to using this or any other add-on

I'm consistently getting CTDs when I spawn in with this mod. Not sure what the issue is, but I can't use this mod either.

Sadly this scenery is unusable for me. I have tried to land twice in the last 24 hours. The first time on 22R I was taxiing into the terminal to complete the flight and my system froze. I tried again a few hours later and this time I had a complete CTD on finals to 28L. I have uninstalled it and hope that a solution can be found as the scenery is a great replacement for the default with the addition of 22R making SIDs and STARs usable.

Hi,..I believe there is a problem with the default EIDW and not only when using any EIDW Mods, either payware or freeware.

I've just had a CTD when on Finals on 28L at EIDW default airport. Also, I cannot start a flight from EIDW, when I select Fly Now, the game starts to load and then crashes. I believe ASOBO need to fix something. There is a really long thread about CTD at Dublin over on the MSFS forums.
