VFA-34 is a F/A-18E Super Hornet squadron based out of Naval Air Station Oceana - located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Super cool motto - "Have gun...Will travel"
I personally like the patch and skin - Their CAG jets are cool but I personally like the line jets a bit more.
This livery is based on a few requests and it depicts the NA400 CAG jet from the squadron's 2015 deployment aboard USS George Washington.

INSTRUCTIONS:
YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING as I am quite frankly getting rather annoyed at folks not reading simple instruction and unable to get the liveries to work.
There are two variants attached based on whether you want to use it with the Super Warrior modded jet or not.
If you want to only use it for the default MSFS Asobo jet:
Then put the folder labeled "VFA-34 Blue Blasters CAG (ASOBO)" into your community folder.
If you have the the Super Warrior mod jet installed (https://flightsim.to/file/23760/f-a-18-super-warrior):
Then put the folder labeled "VFA-34 Blue Blasters CAG" into your community folder.
Feel free to drop both in your community folder if you want to use both Asobo and Super Warrior versions.

A special note - I have included the simple instructions to use my other F/A-18 liveries with the Super Warrior mod.
Open the aircraft.cfg file ...
Look under [VARIATION] -
change
base_container = "..\Asobo_FA18E"
to
base_container = "..\Asobo_FA18E_SW"

Apologize for what may be a dumb question - but where is the folder where I can find base_container.... My files are not hidden and a search didn't provide an answer. If it matters, my version came from Microsoft download and installed without any changes. Thanks!

Base container is atop the aircraft.cfg. So as long as you did not change the naming scheme, then in your community folder, Community\VFA-34 Blue Blasters CAG\SimObjects\Airplanes\VFA-34 Blue Blasters and here you will find the aircraft.cfg file. Open that with notepad or notepad+ and on top you will see base container - there you can point it to use the modded Rhino or Asobo Rhino

Thank you. I do plan on doing low viz jets for most of the squdrons CAG jets I’ve skinned. No timetable though. Suggest you put it in the request forum so other painters can also take up the project.
